Sudden closure 1
A temporary ban on bottom trawling in the west of Pollina NV by the Faculty came into force at 22:00 on 12 July 2023 and will apply on 26 July 2022.
The restricted area is defined by the following coordinates:
1. 66°14,50'N, 24°04,36'W |
2. 66°16.00'N, 24°08.00'W |
3. 66°12.00'N, 24°14.00'W |
4. 66°10,50'N, 24°11,00'W |
Reason: A juvenile lump in the catch of trawlers, 56% below the threshold.
