The following is a list of where voters can seek general information on election day, e.g. on the register of electors and matters pertaining to the conduct of municipal elections on Saturday 14 May 2022.

National election board

The National Election Board shall provide information from 8:30 a.m. to 22 p.m. Telephone numbers are 545 9050, 545 9070 and 830 5800. You can also contact them by e-mail.

National Registry of Iceland

The National Registry of Iceland will be on duty by telephone on election day, from 09 a.m. to 22 a.m. This will include information on the electoral register. The telephone number is 515-5300. You can also contact them by e-mail.

Most municipalities also have registered polling stations and electoral divisions in the Register of Local Authorities in Iceland. Voters can simply check their registration on the register of electors.

Digital Iceland

Digital Iceland will be in duty on election day if problems arise regarding the scanning of its driving licences. You can contact Digital Iceland or send an e-mail to the address: island@island.is. You can also contact 545 9126.
