Respiratory tract infections. Week 42 in 2023

A new review of the frequency of respiratory infections and hospitalizations in Iceland in autumn compares the situation in Europe.

The incidence of respiratory infections at present is stable and caused by different viruses. The influenza pandemic has not started yet. The most common causes of respiratory infections are such as previously rhinoveira and COVID-19.
