New Director of the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority
The Minister of Health, Willum Þór Þórsson, has appointed Elisabet Dolinda Olafsdottir as director of the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority from December 1st. The Advisory Committee on Qualifications assessed Elisabet Dolinda as highly qualified to hold the position.
Elisabet Dolinda has been at the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority since 1991, but since 2016 she has held the position of assistant director alongside the roles of quality manager and personnel manager.
