The psychological services of the Healthcare Institution of Iceland will hold a basic course in cognitive behavioral therapy (HAM) at the Healthcare Institution in Egilsstaðir. The course starts on Wednesday 20 March and is one week for six weeks.

The course is aimed at all those who struggle with difficult emotions in their daily lives, but the main focus is on anxiety and depression symptoms with special education on them. The main goal of the course is that participants learn and train in the basics of methods of cognitive behavioral therapy that are useful to deal with various emotional problems.

Note that limited space is available. The course fee is ISK 5,000 and includes a handbook and coffee.
