The Directorate of Health recently published a revised version of official recommendations on physical activity and the limitation of sedentary time. Recommendations on physical activity for people with disabilities were, for the first time, a particular item in the publication.

Children and young people with disabilities - recommendations on physical activity

-Automatic translation

For various reasons, disabled people may find it more difficult to exercise than non-disabled people. For example, only about 4% of disabled children practice sports within the sports movement, which is many times lower than what happens among non-disabled children.

These videos were made within the project "Inclusion through sports for children with developmental disabilities", funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation. Motivation Romania Foundation manages the project in partnership with Special Olympics Romania, SO Iceland, SO Slovakia, SO Lithuania, SO Bosnia and Herzegovina, SO Montenegro, with support from SO Europe Eurasia Foundation and Poznan University of Physical Education.`
