If you have completed a university education from a foreign university, you can request to have your studies recognised by the ENIC-NARIC office.

Single credits completed at the tertiary level
Micro-credentials from recognised universities
Post-secondary non-tertiary education

Single courses without course assessment
Language proficiency
Supporting documents with the application
A copy of the academic diplomas and academic transcripts in their original language in pdf. form
Diploma supplement, if possible
English or Icelandic translation of graduation certificate and transcript
Confirmation of name change, if applicable, e.g. marriage certificate

There is no fee for the evaluation of academic studies
Process of application
You submit an application to the ENIC-NARIC office through the application portal.
When we receive the application, you will receive a confirmation email.
The application is registered in the application system
If necessary, further documentation is requested.
Processing of applications may take several weeks.
An answer is sent as a pdf. document to the e-mail address you give in your application.
Evaluation result
No appeal can be lodged against the conclusion, as the ENIC/NARIC office provides only advisory statements.
You can request further reasoning or ask for a closer examination of a case if you suspect something has passed the inspectors.
