The aim of the labour market measures are to combat unemployment, help jobseekers stay active on the labour market, promote their relationship with industry and create ways for people to improve their prospects.
Labour market measures that the Directorate of Labour is responsible for include, courses, job related measures, education measures, employment-related rehabilitation and counselling.
The Directorate of Labour may provide grants from the Unemployment fund, for those that are insured.
