To register people on a mailing list, we use the Email Signup content type.

We sort out the form fields and set which Type each form field is (e.g. then there is an email address → email)

All of this is set using Options (which contains defined options).

Email Config is here to tell which value should be used to send the specific field to e.g. Mailchimp.
