What to beware of? Too many links

Links can be useful. But too many links, unclassified and poorly defined, confuse the user in the space. Be careful not to block links on pages that have not been properly addressed. The user should not have to open all of them to know what material is being referenced. It is good to note that:

  • have no more than five links per page

  • prioritize the arrangement of the links according to their importance

  • put yearly and (pdf) labels behind links to documents, reports, articles and brochures

  • ensure that an active link is behind all texts

  • to identify the material that is available only in Icelandic or English separately.
