What are the banks doing for the residents of Grindavik?
Due to natural disasters and uncertainty in Grindavík, Arion Bank, Íslandsbanki and Landsbankinn, in collaboration with the Finance Iceland (SFF), made an agreement to cancel interest and indexation on the residential loans of Grindavík for three months. The agreement to this effect was signed on 22 November. See further information in Icelandic here.
