We would like to remind you that we are quite busy in the beginning of the coastal fishing season and we direct people to send email to fiskistofa@fiskistofa.is rather than calling.

Keep in mind that processing of a coastal fishing permit can be delayed if official information is contradictory or does not show the ownership of all the parties who own or operate vessels. The Directorate of Fisheries will take those applications for special examination with the associated data collection.

Processing of applications that do not go through the application portal can take up to four working days.
