Increase in reimbursement of Iceland Health for services by specialized physicians. Extra charges shall be waived.

Iceland Health currently contributes to the cost of specialist medical services according to a special price list, and this arrangement will remain unchanged until the agreement enters into force. On July 1st, however, the price list will increase, and specialist doctors will cease to charge patients extra fees for the tasks covered by the price list.

It is reaffirmed that Iceland Health is not permitted to reimburse extra costs that patients have already had to pay due to a lack of contract.
