Foreign hunters' fishing map

Everyone who hunts birds and mammals in Iceland must have a hunting card. To receive a game card, individuals must pass a game card test.

Foreign nationals intending to fish for Iceland must have:

• Licences for firearms

• Fishing map

• Recommendations from at least two Icelandic citizens

When hunting is complete, it is necessary to submit a fishing report, even if nothing has been caught.
