It is the responsibility of the examinees to familiarise themselves with the examination rules of the test center and the Icelandic Transport authority and to comply with them. The examiner may suspend or expel the examiner if he/she does not comply with any instructions given to him/her, or if he/she does not comply with the examination rules.
Test rules
An examiner must present a valid photo ID, turn off phones, smartwatches and other electronic devices and leave the staff/examiner with them.
The test taker must leave his/her coats, hats, hats, bags and pen purses with the staff/examiner.
An applicant attends examinations punctually and presents a driving course book (if applicable) with confirmation that all study components have been completed in order to take examinations.
If more than 15 minutes of examination time has passed at the time of the examination, the applicant shall generally be dismissed. The candidate must also not leave the examination room until at least 15 minutes after the start of the examination.
The examiner shall be polite in his or her behaviour towards staff and examiners and follow their instructions.
Frumherji provides writing equipment; they are not permitted to bring their own.
Any accompanying data or notes are prohibited in the driving test.
All communication between applicants is prohibited during the examination.
Copying or distribution of an examination or questions from an examination is entirely prohibited. Examinations are confidential between Frumherji, Samgöngustofa and examination holders.
