P-card, parking card for persons with reduced mobility

Where a vehicle is specially adapted for the carriage of persons with reduced mobility on the basis of a registration certificate, the driver of the vehicle is also entitled to park in a P-marked parking space as the cardholder himself/herself. This applies, however, only when a person with reduced mobility is being transported.

Institutions or households that accommodate persons with reduced mobility and have invested in their own vehicle for the transport of inmates can apply for a joint parking card for the vehicle from the District Commissioners.

Use of the card in these circumstances is limited to a period of time adequate to assisting occupants in and from their vehicles and as the case may be. The card is not intended for the driver of the vehicle for any other purposes.
