A vehicle registered in Iceland and being used abroad can be made available for inspection by an approved inspection post within the EEA. Only opinions which end without comment shall be valid in these cases.
Application must be accompanied by
a copy of the foreign inspection certificate
it should be indicated that the inspection has been carried out in accordance with Directive 2014/45 of the European Union.
If an application is approved, the owner is given a new inspection sticker which he/she glues to the vehicle registration plate himself/herself.
