A digital driver's licence can be accessed in two ways:

Directly from the Ísland.is app, we recommend this.

1. Log in to the Ísland.is app with electronic ID´s

2. There you click on the "Wallet" button, which is on the bottom left of the screen

3. Click on the driver's license

4. Select "Add to wallet"

On My pages on Ísland.is - note that you must have another device on hand where the QR code is displayed.

1. Log in to My pages Ísland.is with electronic ID on a device other than the one you want to install the license on

2. Click on "Licenses" on the left side of the page

3. Select the license and press "Send to phone"

4. Scan the QR code with the camera on the phone you want to set up the license on and click on the link that appears

5. Select "Add to wallet"

You can access the license in Apple Wallet.
