Becoming a part of an interactive procurement process as a seller

The interactive procurement system gives all eligible sellers who fulfil the conditions of the contract the right to participate.

New traders are always welcome but they must meet the requirements of the system during the validity of the purchase process. Furthermore, buyers may require traders to renew or update their qualifications while a certain purchase process is active.

Participation in the new agreement

A participation request must be submitted to the website of Ríkiskaup. It is possible to follow when a new contract is made or a contract is renewed.

Participation in an existing contract

You can also apply to become a party to an existing contract. After access has been established on the website, you can choose the DPS contract that the seller wants to be a party to. A request for participation is sent, where all qualifications and technical requirements are answered, as well as submitting the relevant documents.

The buyer generally has 10 working days, in exceptional cases 15, to consider the application. Once the seller has been approved, buyers can purchase from him goods, works or services offered by the seller.
