The Icelandic parliament, Althingi, has approved a bill on a single payment to pensioners who earn 25 thousand ISK or less per month from sources other than TR. There are about 2,000 individuals who may be eligible for this payment.
The December benefit for the elderly and disability and rehabilitation pensioners was paid on December 1, along with monthly payments.

The Icelandic National Insurance Administration has entered into an agreement with Defend Iceland aimed at ensuring increased cyber security and protection of sensitive data in the agency’s operations. With the agreement, TR will have access to cyber security solutions that ensure continuous monitoring and security against ever-changing cyber threats.

Today, a group of TR customers will be able to send a service survey via email, where their experience of TR services is being checked.

The Social Insurance Administration is among the 130 entities that received recognition from the Equality Scale Award, the FKA’s dynamic project. This includes 93 companies, 15 municipalities and 22 public bodies. The criteria is to have a 40/60 gender ratio in the highest level of management.

The Connecting the State (Tengjum ríkið) conference was held yesterday, 26 September at Hilton, where TR and other institutions presented their digital journey along with Digital Iceland. TR was recognized for completing eight digital steps defined by Digital Iceland. The ninth and final step will be taken by TR when a chatterbot will soon be implemented on the website of TR on Ísland.is.

An error has been fixed in the pension calculator on our website and the calculator has therefore been reopened. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the failure. Note that the pension calculator is intended to show possible payments to individuals based on different assumptions and that it is not a final calculation of individual rights.

TR is participating in the service survey of government institutions organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy. The survey will be sent monthly by e-mail to TR's customers who have completed and errands in the previous month. The first sending of the survey will be in September. Customers of TR's service center in Hlíðasmáro can also take the survey by scanning a QR code.
